Closing Check List

What to provide before closing to the atty.
1) New address
2) S.S. #
3) Primary mortgage info including loan # and telephone #, equity line of credit or 2nd mortgage if applicable.
4) Home owners ‘ association contact info
5) Copy of termite letter.

What to bring to closing:
1. Photo I.D
2. Original termite letter
3. Keys, garage door openers, security alarm codes, etc.
4. Proof of any repairs (receipts) that were agreed upon in offer.
5. Warranties, instruction manuals, paint chips, etc. to help the new owner understand your home and how it functions.
6. Certified check (if applicable).

What Buyer’s should provide to the attorney before closing
1) Proof of homeowner’s policy (hazard insurance)

At closing:
1) Photo I.D.
2) cashier’s check or certified funds made payable to yourself
3) personal blank check
